lyrics
I know what I want and how to get it
I know strange places you’ll never visit
The restlessness that burns me can never die
It glows like the moon in a well
In a legion of thirsty eyes
Carry me my steed ‘til my last breath
Navigate with me the seas of emptiness
Phantoms own this highway
Their silent dreams permeate the forest
And my bloodstream
On the highway through borderland
I’m racing with the sands
I’m a gaunt rider
On the highway through borderland
On this long ride such sights to see
Concerns of flesh and power are beneath me
When eternity sweeps past my feet
And swift decay becomes the state of being
Innumerable creatures await in the gloom
Earthlings will bow down to them, soon
A luminous speck on a desolate rock I am
But I will be one of them, and chaos will reign again
I’ll ascend to the bestial lair
And drive my fangs into despair
I’ll be a witness to the death of the sun
I’m leaving the sorrowlands
The moon is at my command
I’m a gaunt rider
On the highway through borderland
Mortal points of view
Do not grasp the truth of this place

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae

Late 90's BM worship, but it's also a lil more than that. This album takes the best elements from the scene it's inspired by and mostly avoids the worst of it; the song-writing is well-written, it's performed with passion and fun, and the production is raw but isn't lo-fi. (i.e. it doesn't obfuscate and/or suckass).
Tl;dr It's safe but high quality BM. Recommended. Rabbit
